My husband and I have been doing the Ideal Protein diet for two months now. He has lost 36 pounds (men always lose so fast!) but I'm feeling great having lost 25. The first two weeks were tough, but now we are loving it! My sugar craving left me right away and I no longer crave the carbs. We are really having a good time experimenting with healthy foods! |

I have never been a "small" girl so when people heard what I was weighing they were shocked. I am 5'11 and my normal "healthy looking" weight is 175. 7 years ago I had breast cancer. Part of that treatment was 5 years on Tamoxifen. The first 2 years were uneventful. Then on year 3, I started to gain ALOT of weight = 74 pounds! This truly was unexplained, as I have always been a healthy eater. Not going to deny that I enjoy things like pizza and pasta, and let's not forget the Oreos! but these are all in small moderation. Nothing was working to keep the weight stable or to lose it. I tried literally EVERY program out there, and the net result was weight gain and a whopping 274 pounds on the scale! I was literally at wits end, when a friend of mine (who I see here and there and had commented once that she looked like she was losing weight) posted a pic on Facebook next to her previous sixe 26 jeans, wearing a 14! She tagged IP in the photo and I had to check it out. I am one month in the program, down 22 pounds and 17 inches and this protocol is SO easy once you get the hang of it! LOVE I.P. Literally has saved me! |

I have always struggled with my weight. I have purchased so many diet books over the years that I could start a book store on dieting. The weight would come off but the weight would also come back and with a vengeance, it would add a little more each time. At the age of 57, I was tired of trying to find a diet "that suits me". The Ideal Protein Diet plan is now my way of life and I will go through the stages and undo the damage that I have done to my body through the years of diets that didn't work and diets that did more damage than good. Ideal Protein Diet structures my life so I think about what I am eating and gives me the nutrients that keeps the body happy so I can continue the diet. There is a long road ahead of me but with the support of my coach, the daily e-mails I receive from Ideal Protein, and the recipes available I feel confident that I will loose the weight I need to loose and keep it off this time! |

I was on IP and lost the weight I was determined to lose. I was then diagnosed with Hashimoto's and before realizing I had it, I put on all the weight I had lost plus 20 lbs. I have been trying to restart but have found it very challenging. After being so unhappy for so long, I am biting the bullet and restarting tomorrow. |

Successfully went thru the IP DIET, took 4 months to lose approx 30 lbs. thrilled! But, 18 months later, salads not not as much of the daily fare as I obviously need and 10 lbs later, I'm back on the wheel! I truly thought I had learned how to eat this last round but, no! The expense of the product is a deterrent and a concern so I'm hoping to plug into alternatives and creative recipies. Wishing everyone luck and health!!! Let's DO THIS! |
