I started the IP diet at 180 lb. Went down to 132.5 lb. Didn't have a compatible coach so did not complete Phase 2-3-4. Four years later, I'm at 198! I'm starting again and hopefully I will finish this diet and stick to the good sense of eating properly. I decided to search online for support because the coach I have now knows less than me! I know it works and I did not cheat the first time; I believe I can do this again. |

I had always been thin throughout my childhood, teens on through to my early 40's. At that point, I was involved in an accident that required sitting or lying down for 11 months. This was when I started gaining weight. It was very depressing watching my dress size go up month after month. I would walk past a mirror and think, " Oh My Gosh, who is the fat girl?" I hated it. After recovering as much as I ever would, I finally decided to get serious and get back to what would be a normal weight for me. |

I was always ideal weight, 5 feet 2 inched, 112 lbs, did manual, heavy work, was lean and strong,and I could eat anything...but I loved eating good food with an occasional bit of junk, until I was 33, and involved in a car accident...off work almost 2 years, BUT ate like I was still working...got back to work...20 lbs heavier!...Never gained any more weight, but never lost any other...I just maintained these extra 20 lbs for nearly 25 years...now, time to get rid of them...I am retired and have the time to do this right...for me. Now, several years since I wrote this, I have dropped 26 lbs., and continuie to maintain with the help of some Ideal Protein products, like cappucino drink in my coffee. |

In the last year, I lost 105 lb on Ideal Protein. It was very easy for me. I did almost no exercise. I stuck to the plan, never using any of the Ideal Protein Restricted foods. Now I am struggling a little to maintain my weight goal, without feeling like I am having to Diet all of the time. |
