I'm married age 28 to Adam a military veteran, prior Air Force and we have a boxer named Rosie she's 5 yrs. old at this time. I have struggled with a parasite (Giardia-giardiasis) at the age of 14 yrs. old that almost killed me, immune system issues, and weight issue's ever since. Before this in high school, I played 4 to 6 sports at a time because I loved it. Currently, to-date I have had 2 miscarriages and now in my last miscarriage (Jan. 2014) I went to work to soon and bulged (5-6mm) as well as herniated (8-9 mm), my L5-S1, Then somehow contracted c-diff for who knows how long from going through so much therapy at clinics (I got healed Feb. 2015). Currently, I have been diagnosed with an eating disorder due to not eating and poor relationship with food. Having a back injury has hindered my employment as well as it encroaches upon my spinal cord and sacral thecal sac which many times causing me the inability to use the restroom. In result I have been receiving 2 shots one in each hip as well as medicine for this per 2-3 wks. Yet I love working out so I still do, I just ice down, use a tens unit for Est. 60 min. and every 3 weeks or so I have to get the shots for swelling and steroids to keep me going like others, never fails. I have also had to get therapeutic massages in order to move like other just for example walking into the kitchen to get my water filled.
 
To-date, I have been through a year in a half of Physical Therapy and 8 months of intense therapy, physical therapy, and aquatic therapy for 4 months, alongside doing various training exercises from skinnymom.com-hip hop abs, yoga inferno Julian Michael's. I have lost a total of 23 lbs since 12/4/14, yet I currently weigh 248 lbs, 5ft 5.5 inches, Age 28. I am thriving to continue to loose. I have begun my Hip Hop Abs Basic challenge and will start the Hip Hop Abs Deluxe immediately after or another viable program, these are my current challenges. Since, I have been released by doctors’ orders, I am trying anything I am capable of doing to get the weight off, get stronger, maintain healthy habits, gain stability, gain range in general for doing everyday things, and overall get my quality of life back. My goal is to become fit, healthy, and, become a team beach body coach, graduate with my bachelor's in Business Management with a minor in Business Analytics and Intelligence –Grad: Nov. 2016 and gain my certification as a personal trainer and possibly a nutritionist. Within the next 2 months, I would like to continue down the path to a healthy lifestyle as well as bring others in similar situations in to start changing what they thought wasn’t possible. I personally have struggled with fact vs fiction when it comes to being healthy and eating correctly while incorporating the proper workout mix. I have only completed 30 days, yet continuing my goals to success now while being a coach. I have posted pictures compared to before and after as well as a picture of my measurements.
 
When starting this program it wasn’t others reassuring me, more so that I didn’t want to give up nor did I want a surgery in which had a chance of taking me having a child away for good. So I had to choose pick up the DVDs I purchased in 2013 and incorporate various workouts from skinnymom.com, Julian Michaels, and biggest looser to see where and how far I could go with the situation and medical issue given. So before I did so I applied to the biggest looser and well was not chosen, spent a few days saddened, and down. Yet, I got on amazon.com and ordered a few DVDs and then opened my hip-hop abs to begin, measured my body, and took pictures in which omg not to fond of. Within the first week, I struggled and thought I felt like quitting as well as I visually could not see results. Therefore, my husband began to tell me honey it is okay you will not see results that quick and if you do not stop weighing every day and measuring I will take them away from you. Then I said okay fine. I put them away and focused on just making it through the dvds program by Shawn T and well I got to week 3 and finally I quit telling myself I couldn’t do it, because I had just proven to myself I can and I did. Now I got to week 4 and purchased more dvds as a matter of fact an entire collection. I realized that if I can come from all the above situations as well as current issues and turn myself into a non-medicated day to day life taking, healthy looking, happy, more energized woman than it is worth the share. Anyone that has been around understands and knows this has not been easy for me. My husband of all people knows all too well. I suggest to those whom think they will not change, think again, change is all too often misinterpreted. As of April 2015 I am no longer having to rely solely on medicine, no longer do I need help with like everything, no longer am I having to get shots, and no longer am I saying I can’t. I feel wonderful and my blood work proves the proof is in the pudding as many may say. Never rely on words, look into your own research, and expand into a new lifestyle as though I have. I believe our bodies are a work of the inevitable, so I am not going to stop, give up, or slow down. I will be posting after photos for every program. This has and will be a rough path, yet I will make it and come out stronger, happier, and more alive than I ever have been. Team Beachbody, yeah! Remember the human body was built and made to last. In order to achieve your obstacles you must push yourself a little each time to reach what your own expectations.
Unable to work out at this time under doctors care torn labrum and brucitis in both hips as well my spinal injury. As soon as I can be back working out you bet youll see my youtube channel etc.

Im 48 years old. My weight as always been a issue for me . I have been on every diets. I've lost 30 pounds on ideal protein in 2011 and felt great but returned to my bad habits and gained all the 30 pounds plus 10 more !! I felt angry at myself, tired all the time, no motivation, no energy, and taught it was too late for me and deserved to be fat. But after losing my job that I loved and was good at, I had to start a new job. So then, I new this was a new beginning, new chapter in my life, so time for me to get back to me......and..lose weight. Ideal protein works best for me. I have already lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks ! And 30 pounds to go.....I can do this now. (:
