I have been fit for most of my life even in the midst of having two children. But then I was in a car accident I was struggling with chronic pain and I had recently had another baby. I have 3 herniated discs and I was taking no pain medication and trying to get through my days as good as I could. It seems like every week I was gaining another 5 lb yet I was still working full-time going to school taking care of my children and my house, I wasn't sure how this was occurring. I was very stressed out and depressed and chronically ill and decided I needed to take back control before it got too out of control. I was 40 lb heavier than I've ever been in my entire life and I felt like I was carrying the weight of an elephant. Being a Veterinary nurse this was getting in the way of my job let alone my ability to keep up with 3 children. So the choice was made and I am feeling so much better than I was, and I am excited for the future.
