Healthy Granola Squares

First layer:
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1+1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ (or we have subbed an extra 1/2 cup of whole wheat flower instead)
1 egg yolk

Second Layer:
1/3 cup melted butter
1/3 cup honey
1 egg white
pinch of salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup walnuts
1/3 cup coconut
1 tsp. vanilla


First layer:
All the above can be mixed in an oblong pan 9x13". Spread and bake at 350F for 10 minutes.

Second Layer:
Add rolled oats and sesame seeds to second layer. Spread second layer ingredients on first layer ingredients and bake at 300F for 20 minutes.
