Meat Muffins

Meat Muffins
Ingredients:

2lbs. ground turkey, bison or beef
¼ cup finely choppped onion or 1 Tbsp dehydrated onion flake
2 cloves garlic, minced, or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tsp dry mustard powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried sage
½ tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
¼ cup water (add last may need to adjust depending on consistency, shouldn’t be too wet)

Directions:

Optional- add 1 finely chopped celery stalk and some shredded zucchini (or allowed veggies of choice) Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Using your hands is easiest, but don't overmix. Bake at 350 F for about 1 hour for a large loaf. Muffin-cup meatloaves cook in about 15 to 20 minutes. To be sure the meatloaf is cooked.

About 10 to 15 minutes before you think the meatloaf will be done, you can cover it with Walden Farms BBQ sauce or Marinara sauce.

Made these for plan ahead meals added zucchini put fresh garlic instead of powder weighed them out 2.75 pounds but that included veggies so I'm working out servings with my hubby . I can't have Worcester on my phase but added red chili paste for a kick The walden farms Ketchup worked better than BBQ for me Soooo tasty loved this recipe thanks

I don't see the onion crisps listed on my order sheet. Are they listed on order sheet by another name?
Thanks

I will Steve. I picked these crisps on WEndesday at my Center and was told that it was a non restricted item. And I tried it yesterday and it was very yummy with high fiber. That is definitely a keeper. I also saw another chicken tender recipe that uses this package of crisps crushed up as coating. That is another idea to try. Keep up the good work!

I used one pound of ground beef and made six meat muffins. So three would be eight ounces. In Canada I know you're allowed to have up to eight ounces these days. In the US though we can only have between four and six.

Just put these in the oven! I ended up using one pound of ground beef and made six muffins. Dying to see how they turn out!
